NVIDIA agreed to invest $2 billion for 20% of Lancium; another $1 billion depends on additional planned power resources. #
NVIDIA agreed to make an initial $2 billion investment in Lancium, a power-infrastructure developer backed by Blackstone. The initial funding would give NVIDIA a 20% stake in the company.
NVIDIA committed another $1 billion if Lancium obtains additional planned power resources or meets specified thresholds. One report said the additional investment could increase NVIDIA’s ownership to approximately 30%.
The transaction reportedly values Lancium and its land and power-interconnection assets at an enterprise value of approximately $10 billion, including investment proceeds and debt. Lancium is developing power infrastructure in Texas for an artificial-intelligence campus serving OpenAI and Oracle.
