Yuneng Holdings’ board approved its subsidiary Yuneng (Puyang) Smart Energy’s proposed investment in the Puyang integrated energy project. The reported total dynamic investment estimate is RMB 13.927 billion, comprising RMB 8.439 billion for coal generation and RMB 5.488 billion for wind generation.
The coal component consists of two domestically produced 1,000-MW ultra-supercritical, single-reheat, condensing coal-fired generating units. The wind component comprises 400 MW in Taiqian County and 200 MW each in Nanle, Qingfeng, Puyang, and Fan counties.
The Fan County wind project was previously part of the second phase of a Puyang Yuneng integrated wind, solar, thermal, and storage project. Its inclusion in the new integrated project changes the investment entity to Yuneng (Puyang) Smart Energy; the announced capacities remain proposed additions rather than commissioned generation.
