· ComputeLabs Research · from the October 13, 2026 edition

Fujifilm plans to invest $18 million in expanding semiconductor chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) slurry production. The project is located at its existing facility in Mesa, Arizona.

The announced scope is additional production lines for semiconductor-processing materials. It is not a GPU production announcement, a wafer-fabrication capacity figure, or a data-center construction project.

The expanded lines are scheduled to begin production in 2027. The source does not provide annual slurry output, a percentage capacity increase, customer commitments, or confirmation that the full investment has already been spent.
