Bolt Graphics completed initial Zeus GPU test-chip testing; finished GPUs are not expected to ship from TSMC until 2028.
· ComputeLabs Research · from the October 13, 2026 edition
Bolt Graphics announced completion of the first round of testing for the Zeus test chip. HPCwire’s report highlights the company’s promotion of hardware-accelerated physics modeling on that test chip.
Zeus is being designed for high-performance computing (HPC), digital-twin, and video-rendering workloads. The reported milestone concerns test silicon, not shipment of finished production GPUs or deployment of commercial systems.
Finished GPUs are not expected to ship from TSMC until 2028, according to the excerpt. Bolt also announced the opening of a Taiwan office; the supplied material contains no numerical physics-modeling benchmarks, production volumes, or customer-delivery commitments.
