Maiwei’s (迈为股份) controlled subsidiary, Maiwei Technology (Zhuhai) (迈为技术(珠海)有限公司), signed an agreement with the Zhuhai Natural Resources Bureau (珠海市自然资源局) for the return of state-owned land-use rights. The agreement covers 47,866.50 square meters of undeveloped industrial land in the Jinding area (金鼎片区) of Zhuhai’s high-tech zone (珠海高新区).
The returned area forms part of an original 158,426.24-square-meter site south of Jinhuan Road (金环路) and east of Jinding West Road (金鼎西路). Rights to the remaining 110,559.74 square meters stay with the subsidiary; the site was originally intended for the Maiwei Semiconductor Equipment Project (迈为半导体装备项目).
The land-premium refund will be established in a separate agreement, while the subsidiary estimates a recovery of RMB26.6138 million based on the area proportion. That amount is an estimate, not a finalized refund or reported cash receipt.
According to the reported announcement, the transaction constitutes neither a related-party transaction nor a major asset restructuring and requires no board or shareholder-meeting approval. The disclosed action is a partial return of undeveloped land, not an announcement terminating the entire semiconductor-equipment project.
