Molex invested an undisclosed amount in CAEPlus, an early-stage developer of active liquid-cooling technology for AI data centers.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the August 17, 2026 edition

Molex announced a strategic investment in CAEPlus, an early-stage company developing active liquid-cooling technology. The technology is designed for rising heat loads associated with AI and high-performance computing workloads in data centers.

Molex described itself as an electronics and connectivity company and positioned the investment within its thermal-management activities. The announcement did not disclose the amount invested, CAEPlus’s valuation, the ownership stake acquired, or whether the financing had other participants.

The source also did not identify commercial customers, deployed cooling capacity, rack-density limits, coolant specifications, manufacturing volumes, or a product-availability schedule. The transaction is therefore an investment in an early-stage cooling developer, not a disclosed data-center deployment contract.
