Gree won more than RMB 300 million in cooling-equipment orders from China Mobile and China Tower for data rooms and telecommunications sites.
· ComputeLabs Research · from the November 7, 2026 edition
According to Gree Electric Appliances, the company won centralized temperature-control equipment procurement awards from China Mobile and China Tower. The reported combined order value exceeded RMB 300 million, without a customer-by-customer allocation.
The awarded products include air-cooled refrigerant-pump air conditioners for equipment rooms, chilled-water in-row air conditioners, hybrid dry/wet equipment-room air conditioners, and dedicated base-station air conditioners. This is cooling-equipment procurement, not an order for GPUs, servers, or computing services.
Gree said the equipment would support integrated temperature control for data rooms and communications base stations nationwide. The source reports procurement wins rather than completed installations or recognized revenue, and does not disclose delivery dates, unit counts, payment terms, or quantified energy savings.
