The figures cover a defined listed-company sample, not the entire industry. Securities Times reporting relayed by Financial_Express cited Wind data for 40 printed-circuit-board (PCB), related-materials, and equipment companies during the first nine months of 2026. Their aggregate revenue was RMB 238.006 billion, while net profit attributable to parent-company shareholders reached RMB 35.329 billion, up 102.03% year over year.
Growth was broad, but company profitability remained differentiated. Thirty-eight companies increased revenue, and 32 recorded attributable-profit growth faster than revenue growth. The report linked stronger performance to AI computing and high-speed optical-communications demand, with higher-end products contributing to profitability.
Supply constraints accompanied the order growth. Companies faced rising raw-material prices and longer equipment-delivery lead times, responding through product-price adjustments, advance stocking, and manufacturing-process work. Xunjiexing, Hongchang Electronic, and Nuopai Xincai were jointly exploring an ultrafine-line manufacturing approach, but customer qualification and production validation remained necessary before mass production.
