Automotive chipmaker SiEngine’s 7-nanometer Dragon Eagle-1 surpassed one million cumulative shipments; its 5-nanometer Dragon Eagle-2 remains under development.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the November 2, 2026 edition

SiEngine’s Dragon Eagle-1 is described as a 7-nanometer automotive-grade intelligent-cockpit chip that has entered mass production. Cumulative shipments have surpassed one million units, a lifetime shipment milestone rather than a quarterly sales figure or manufacturing-capacity measure.

The next-generation Dragon Eagle-2 is being developed on a 5-nanometer process. Its stated scope is an automotive-grade AI chip integrating cockpit and driving functions, while the source still classifies it as under development.

These milestones appear as background to the ECARX–Arm cooperation announcement, which cites earlier collaboration through SiEngine. The source provides no Dragon Eagle-2 launch date, shipment commitment, or quantified performance comparison with Dragon Eagle-1.
