Optical-component supplier TFC (天孚通信) reported significantly easing critical-material shortages after supply constraints restricted first-half capacity ramp-up and deliveries.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the October 10, 2026 edition

TFC (天孚通信), identified as 300394.SZ, said shortages of certain bottleneck materials constrained capacity ramp-up and delivery schedules during the first half of 2026. Its investor-relations update also linked those constraints to an impact on growth in its active optical-device business.

The company reported that shortages of the relevant critical materials had eased significantly compared with the earlier period. It did not quantify the improvement, identify the materials, or state that all supply constraints had been eliminated.

TFC said it would strengthen critical-material sourcing and supply-assurance mechanisms to support production ramp-up and deliveries. It also expressed a favorable view of high-speed optical interconnect demand and emerging co-packaged optics (CPO) and near-packaged optics (NPO) technologies; these are management views rather than disclosed order volumes.

The company’s 2026 restricted-stock incentive plan includes assessment targets for 2027–2029, informed by its expectations for industry conditions, customer demand, and CPO/NPO product ramp-up. The supplied message does not disclose the numerical targets, award size, dilution, or planned spending on research, capacity, market expansion, and supply-chain support.
