According to a report citing Wenergy Group, Yan’an Wenergy Baohe New Energy Co., Ltd. completed registration on October 23. It is the investment and operating entity for the group’s 2.88 gigawatts (GW) of supporting renewable-energy allocations under the Shaanxi-to-Anhui electricity-export program.

The company is responsible for large-scale wind and solar development in locations including Wuqi, Ansai, and Yanchuan. Registration marks the establishment of the project entity; it does not establish that the allocated generating capacity has been constructed or commissioned.

The first project planned to begin construction is the 500-megawatt (MW) Wenergy Wuqi Tiebiancheng photovoltaic project, which the report says is being advanced. Its intended electricity-delivery route, after commissioning, is the Shaanxi-to-Anhui ultra-high-voltage (UHV) transmission corridor.

The 2.88 GW figure refers to planned renewable generating capacity, not data-center load or completed transmission capacity. The source gives no project financing amount, construction-start confirmation, commissioning date, or contracted data-center customer.
