The China Mobile-led national AI application pilot base for automotive manufacturing unveiled its automotive AI platform on October 23 at the 2026 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference. According to reporting attributed to Capital Construction News, access opened to the industry immediately, with integrated compute, data, and model capabilities available on demand.
The platform reportedly had 112.7 exaflops (EFLOPS) of computing capacity under management. This is a reported computing-performance measure, not a GPU count or a statement that the platform owns all the hardware; the source does not specify numerical precision or the hardware mix.
Its capabilities cover research and development, manufacturing, intelligent driving, and testing and evaluation. Six agents address automotive styling, process planning, visual quality inspection, intelligent operations and maintenance, intelligent-driving data generation, and intelligent-driving model training.
The source says related capabilities have already been deployed at more than 10 centrally or otherwise state-owned automakers. It describes the platform as the industry’s first automotive AI foundation, but does not provide customer names, pricing, utilization, or independently measured deployment outcomes.
