Google Cloud Confidential G4 became generally available across 36 zones, using NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.

Google Cloud announced general availability of Confidential Computing on G4 instances powered by NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. Availability covers 36 zones, with multiple consumption models on Compute Engine virtual machines and GKE nodes; the geographic figure refers to zones, not regions.

The security design combines non-exportable hardware keys, remote attestation, and transparent memory encryption to protect data while it is being processed. Google says hardware-enforced execution environments protect model parameters and inputs from host administrators, hypervisors, and cloud-provider access.

Remote attestation lets customers verify code, platform configuration, and environment integrity before releasing sensitive datasets and running workloads. Google also says deployment requires no application refactoring or custom builds when using standard Ubuntu operating-system images, NVIDIA drivers, and CUDA-X libraries.

Support for Confidential Space, which enables secure multiparty data sharing, is scheduled to reach general availability in the coming weeks. That separate rollout should not be confused with the already announced general availability of Confidential G4 itself.
