Banks began syndicating $42 billion in Broadcom-backed senior secured loans within $60 billion in financing for Anthropic’s Google (谷歌) chip leases.

According to Financial_Express’s account of Financial Times reporting, Bank of America (美国银行), Citigroup (花旗集团), and Morgan Stanley (摩根士丹利) began distributing the senior secured portion to other banks on Monday. The $42 billion tranche is backed by Broadcom (博通); the reported $60 billion package is not described as fully syndicated or disbursed.

The package also includes $18 billion of subordinated debt without Broadcom’s guarantee, which the report said was expected to launch later. Blackstone (黑石) reportedly committed approximately $9 billion toward that portion, a financing commitment rather than evidence of completed funding.

The financing is intended for Anthropic’s 2027 chip orders, with lease payments beginning after chip delivery. The report also says Broadcom could receive up to $42 billion of Anthropic convertible notes to cover associated lease expenses; it does not provide conversion pricing, dilution terms, or a detailed collateral schedule.
