Australian neocloud Sharon AI (Nasdaq: SHAZ) announced collaboration with VAST Data to offer DataEnclave confidential AI across Australia and Asia-Pacific.
· ComputeLabs Research · from the September 23, 2026 edition
SharonAI Holdings Inc., trading as SHAZ on Nasdaq, disclosed its VAST Data collaboration in an 8-K Exhibit 99.1 press release. Sharon AI plans to offer VAST DataEnclave, a confidential AI capability of VAST DataEngine, through its AI Factory platform across Australia and Asia-Pacific.
The described service combines a hardware-isolated secure runtime with cryptographic attestation. According to the release, sensitive assets are decrypted and loaded into a secure enclave only after the runtime environment and its enforced policy have been cryptographically verified.
The capability is designed for regulated organizations, including operation in fully air-gapped environments, with customer data and proprietary model weights remaining within customer-controlled infrastructure. The release says infrastructure operators, including Sharon AI, cannot access those assets while they are processed; this is the company’s disclosed technical claim, not an independent security assessment.
The filing establishes that Sharon AI announced the collaboration, but it does not disclose contract value, financing, dilution, collateral, named customers, or deployment quantities. Its language about being equipped to deliver gigawatt-scale AI compute is company positioning, not evidence that this collaboration has commissioned or contracted that capacity.
