NVIDIA expanded NVLink Fusion with NVHBM, a custom High Bandwidth Memory offering for next-generation artificial-intelligence infrastructure.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the August 26, 2026 edition

NVIDIA announced that NVLink Fusion now includes NVHBM, a custom High Bandwidth Memory offering. The product is directed at next-generation AI infrastructure and is part of NVIDIA’s broader system-level approach to linking compute and memory.

NVIDIA described the infrastructure challenge as extending beyond raw processor performance. Its announcement said AI systems increasingly depend on compute, memory, storage, networking and software being designed together as a unified system.

The company framed NVHBM around the memory requirements of AI agents, increasingly large models and trillion-parameter workloads. The supplied article extracts do not provide capacity, bandwidth, power, pricing, production timing or customer-deployment figures for NVHBM.
