Broadcom (Nasdaq: AVGO) announced $63 billion in committed financing for Anthropic accelerator leases, with deliveries expected in 2027.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the October 26, 2026 edition

The announcement describes committed financing for equipment purchases and leasing, not cash raised directly by Anthropic. Bank of America, Blackstone, Citi, and Morgan Stanley jointly announced the $63 billion arrangement with Broadcom. A newly established special-purpose vehicle (SPV) will purchase the equipment and lease it to Anthropic.

The equipment scope includes Broadcom XPU AI accelerators and networking solutions. The source therefore describes more than accelerator chips alone, but does not provide accelerator counts, server configurations, rack quantities, or electrical capacity. It does not identify the Broadcom accelerators as NVIDIA GPUs.

Deliveries are expected to begin in calendar 2027 under a previously announced strategic compute agreement. That is a delivery forecast, not confirmation that the equipment has been delivered or the entire financing drawn. The supplied announcement does not specify lease duration, financing rates, drawdown conditions, or deployment locations.
