· ComputeLabs Research · from the October 2, 2026 edition
Tesla deployed 13.7 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of energy-storage products in the third quarter, according to financialjuice’s quarterly operating update. The source identifies this as a deployment figure, rather than a manufacturing-capacity target.
The unit measures storage energy capacity, not instantaneous power output or generating capacity. The message does not provide a corresponding gigawatt rating, discharge duration, product mix, or geographic breakdown.
The same update reports 486,532 vehicle deliveries, including 478,237 Model 3/Y vehicles and 8,295 other vehicles; production was 457,387 Model 3/Y vehicles and 7,004 other vehicles. Those automotive counts are separate operating metrics and do not establish whether any of the storage deployments served AI data centers.
