Envision’s Xinghe AI data center (远景星河基地) in Ulanqab (乌兰察布) began operations in August, spanning 120,000 square meters.

The reported operating milestone occurred in August 2026. A Financial_Express message attributed to CCTV Finance (央视财经) describes Envision’s Xinghe facility in Ulanqab as occupying 120,000 square meters of building area, approximately 20 standard football fields in the report’s comparison. The area figure is not a measure of electrical or computing capacity.

The report describes a high proportion of directly connected green electricity. It does not provide the actual percentage, the facility’s megawatt load, its electricity price, or its cooling-efficiency measurements. Consequently, the source supports the stated power-supply approach but not a quantified operating-cost advantage.

The additional computing-scale claims require careful qualification. The report states “million-card parallel capability” (百万卡并行能力) and a computing scale of “one million P” (百万 P 算力规模), without identifying card types, installed inventory, numerical precision, or the definition of “P.” These descriptions cannot be converted into a verified count of operating GPUs or a comparable compute-performance figure.

The source also claims global leadership in single-facility token-production capability. It supplies no token-throughput measurement or comparison methodology supporting that ranking. Envision founder Zhang Lei (张雷) expressed an ambition to make tokens “as cheap as potatoes,” but no achieved token price is disclosed.
