OpenAI announced general availability of its Decisions application programming interface (API) on October 22. A Telegram report attributed to Jiemian News states that the service is powered by GPT-6 Luna.
The announced price is $0.10 per million input tokens, with cached input priced at $0.01 per million tokens. Separate messages explicitly distinguish cached-input pricing from ordinary input pricing; neither figure is an output-token price or OpenAI’s internal computing cost.
The report says teams across OpenAI are applying the Decisions API to product and business workflows. The supplied sources do not identify those workflows individually or provide output pricing, rate limits, latency measurements, or external customer adoption figures.
