Bitdeer announced a 16-year AI-compute data-center lease with Volta in Tydal, Norway, worth approximately $4.7 billion over its initial term.

Bitdeer’s SEC-filed September operating update lists a 16-year AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data-center lease with Volta at its Tydal, Norway campus. The company reported approximately $4.7 billion of total contract value over the initial base term.

The filing categorizes this arrangement under colocation AI data centers, separately from its AI Cloud business. Accordingly, the $4.7 billion lease value is distinct from the approximately $2.9 billion AI Cloud revenue backlog reported elsewhere in the same update.

The colocation update also reported an acquisition of 200 acres near Bitdeer’s existing 563-MW Rockdale facility for AI/HPC infrastructure development. That land purchase concerns a separate site, and the existing Rockdale capacity does not establish either the new acreage’s power allocation or Tydal’s capacity.

The filed release documents Bitdeer’s disclosure of the lease and its stated value, not receipt of the full contract amount. The supplied excerpt does not disclose Tydal’s contracted megawatts, rent commencement, deployment schedule, tenant guarantees, or construction-financing conditions.
