Oracle (甲骨文) uses truck-delivered natural gas at data-center projects near Salt Lake City and in Texas while awaiting pipelines.

A Telegram report citing people familiar with the matter says Oracle (甲骨文) has used truck-delivered natural gas to advance data-center projects while awaiting pipeline construction and connections to its equipment. Near Salt Lake City, the report says the arrangement has supported project progress for more than a year.

The same report identifies a campus in Shackelford County, Texas, being built for OpenAI. It says Oracle has also used trucked gas there to support the project’s initial work; it does not establish that the entire campus is operational.

New Mexico is a separate case: another message says Oracle was considering alternative power arrangements, including truck-delivered gas, because of pipeline delays. A further report says Oracle issued a September notice to the developer of Project Jupiter in New Mexico, invoking force majeure to avoid delay costs; this is distinct from the reported use of trucking in Utah and Texas.

The supplied messages do not quantify gas deliveries, trucking costs, generator capacity, or electrical output at any of these sites. They therefore do not support translating the fuel arrangement into megawatts of available data-center power or a specific number of operating GPUs.
