Telegram reports state that Hurricane Isaias (伊萨亚斯) disrupted 62.89% of daily oil production and 57.35% of daily natural-gas production in the Gulf of Mexico. A separate financialjuice dispatch reported the oil shut-in volume as 1.3 million barrels per day, or approximately 63%; these are regional production figures, not national production shares or electricity-generation losses.
As of 11 a.m. Central Daylight Time, personnel had been evacuated from 121 of 371 staffed production platforms, representing 32.61%. Personnel were also evacuated from five of 11 non-dynamically positioned drilling rigs, or 45.45%, while four of 17 dynamically positioned rigs moved away from their operating locations as a precaution.
BP (英国石油公司) reported evacuating all personnel and shutting production at its Na Kika and Thunder Horse platforms. Chevron (雪佛龙) separately said most of its offshore personnel had moved onshore while production continued at its other four Gulf platforms.
A later message attributed 100-mile-per-hour winds to a National Hurricane Center reconnaissance update, while another reported emergency declarations in more than 70 counties across Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. That report also described 500,000 barrels per day of refining capacity as threatened, which must be distinguished from confirmed refinery shutdowns; the supplied sources do not identify a resulting data-center outage.
