Inference-chipmaker d-Matrix plans to connect next-generation Raptor accelerators to NVIDIA NVLink Fusion, integrating scale-up networking and MGX rack architecture.

· ComputeLabs Research · from the September 10, 2026 edition

d-Matrix announced a collaboration with NVIDIA involving a multi-year product roadmap. Its centerpiece is a planned NVLink Fusion-enabled rack-level inference system, with next-generation Raptor accelerators—called XPUs in the sources—connected to NVIDIA’s infrastructure platform.

NVIDIA’s announcement identifies NVLink scale-up networking, Spectrum-X scale-out networking, and MGX rack architecture as components of the integration. The announcement therefore addresses accelerator connectivity and rack-level infrastructure, rather than identifying Raptor as an NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU).

The stated deployment audience includes AI laboratories, hyperscalers, and neocloud providers. The supplied excerpts describe planned integration, not a completed rollout, and do not provide accelerator counts per rack, networking bandwidth, measured latency, pricing, or commercial availability dates.
