Apple’s Houston facility shipped its first advanced AI servers and will begin Mac mini production later this year.

Apple opened an advanced manufacturing center in Houston and said the facility had shipped its first advanced AI servers. The company has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in the site, according to the supplied report.

Parts of the Houston facility were already assembling AI servers for Apple’s own use. The sources do not identify the servers’ processor or accelerator configuration, shipment quantity, rack architecture, power requirements, or destination.

Apple also said Mac mini desktop production would begin at the Houston facility later in 2026. CEO Tim Cook and U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick attended the facility’s unveiling.
