Evergy reported 3 gigawatts of signed large loads, a 5-gigawatt generation pipeline, and 1–2 gigawatts in advanced discussions.

Evergy said it has 3 gigawatts of signed large-load demand. “Signed” distinguishes these loads from prospective customers that remain in negotiations.

The utility also reported a 5-gigawatt generation pipeline. This figure describes the company’s pipeline of power-generation resources and is separate from the 3 gigawatts of signed customer load.

CEO David Campbell said Evergy was in advanced discussions with large-load customers representing an additional 1–2 gigawatts. Those discussions have not been characterized as signed load commitments.
